Ceremonial Cake Cutting
As tradition, we froze the top layer of our wedding cake. However, it was kept in a pastry box & there was fresh fruit filling... one year later it was pretty darn gross. Lots of mold and yuckiness. The outside of the cake was still perfectly intact though! It looked just like it did on our wedding day! It's amazing what fondant can do. :-)
We took one ceremonial picture & then decided to pass on actually eating it. We didn't want to be up all night with stomach pains on our anniversary. :-)
